There were some crazy high rated rounds, and several playoffs to decide who would be named the winner at this tournament!

In MPO:
The hottest round of the day definitely goes to Andrew Presnell, who recently won the Champions Cup in Illinois, and shot a 1043 in Round 1 and a 1044 in Round 2! Andrew definitely was on fire throughout the tournament! Congratulations Andrew on your well earned victory!

In MP40:
There was a fierce three way playoff for first place between Corey Riley, Chris Goodman, and Dasun Keylor in the MP40 Division. After one playoff hole, Corey Riley took first place with a great drive and 20 foot putt for birdie. Congratulations Corey on the win!

In MA1:
Tyler Northrip and Justin Knuckles tied for first and battled through 4 holes before a winner was declared. That was no easy feat after a 40 Hole day of competition! In the end, Justin Knuckles claimed the victory! Congratulations Justin on the win! Despite having not won first place, Tyler Northrip decided to throw one more hole after the tournament was over, and ended the day with an Ace just for fun!

In MA2:
Nathan Huffman and Neil Seaman had to playoff for 1st place to decide the winner of MA2 after yet another tied finish. After one hole Neil came out on top as the winner! Congratulations Neil Seaman on your first place finish!

In MA50:
In the fourth tie of the day Toby Rector and Tim Wilson tied for 1st place in their division. It only took one hole of play for the winner to be determined! Congratulations Tim Wilson on your win!

Congratulations to all players who cashed in the tournament!

Congratulations to our CTP winners:
Unbranded CTP Hole 5- Russ Burns MP40
MVP Only Hole 6b- James Hanna MA50
Full Turn CTP Hole 7b- Kevin Carder MA40
Prodigy Only Hole 17- David Anderson MA40

Also, Congratulations to the big raffle winner disc golf monkey basket Jeff Ford!

Ace Hits:
There were no official Ace Pot winners today, but Clinton Carson in the MA2 Division had a lucky shot Ace on Hole 18 in Round 1 (off the tree). Unfortunately, he was not in on the Ace Pot, but still congratulations on the Ace! There was $260 in the Ace pot. So 1/2 will go to EDGE and 1/2 will be rolled over making Dragon Ridge’s Ace Pot start at $130!

I hope to see you all May 25th at The 7th Annual Dragon Ridge Open in Camdenton!

This event continues to raise and contribute money to the EDGE program. We are proud that this event has been a part of the Tournament Charity Program (TCP) for many years. Above all, North Ark offers a beautiful and challenging course. The maintenance crew at North Ark College keeps it in immaculate condition. We hope to continue each year “Exploring Harrison” as this tournament continues on! Thank you Matt!!

Presidential Cup IX Players Meeting - Feb 7th, 2024

Swing Right, Q-102, and Dynamic Discs present: The Presidential Cup IX Players Meeting

Welcome to the 9th Presidential Cup! As always, we’d like to start off by thanking our sponsors. A big thank you to our Title Sponsors Q-102 and Dynamic Discs. We also want to thank Scott Kisling and Swing Right Golf for their continued support of the tour and disc golf as a whole!

Our tour sponsors this year are: Patriots Gold & Silver, Elephant & Castle Fine Arms, Kinney Amusement, Dynamic Discs, Innova Champion Discs, Fossa Disc Golf, Prodigy Discs, Creator Designs, MVP/Axiom Discs, Millennium Golf Discs, Discmania, 8Up, Greazy Dyes, Discs Unlimited, Swing Right Golf, Intuitive Body Works & Massage and Sticky Dyes.

Everyone needs to check in at the pro shop.
All 100 players will receive a players pack consisting of a custom disc and shirt. Don’t forget to sign up for the $5 cash only Ace Pot. This year we will continue doing the Roll Over Ace Pot if no Ace is hit. The Ace pot will be
rolled over to the next event unless the tournament is benefitting a charity, in which case, 1/2 will roll over and 1/2 will go to the charity. Last year the Roll Over Ace was very exciting as it reached over 2,100! Best of luck.

After the tournament, amateur players receiving a payout will line up at the back of the trailer and six people will be allowed in the trailer at once to shop. All Amateur Players Please Note: All vouchers must be used the day of unless arrangements are made before you leave. You may have friends use your vouchers for you.

Round 1 tees off at 10. The official scorekeeping will be at pdga.com/score. The code is PRES. There is a new rule set by the PDGA: EVERY PLAYER MUST KEEP SCORE. Round 1 player course and hole assignments will be posted shortly after registration closes Friday night at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/77382. The staff will automatically receive the scores at tournament central. After the first round, there will be chili for lunch. If anyone would like to bring an extra pot, please do! Round 2 SHOULD start at 1, but may change based on last card. There will be an announcement by DGM staff, and round 2 assignments will be posted on the PDGA page.

As many of you know, Dynamic Discs was bought out, and there have been changes made. I’m sad to say that one of the changes this year is they have done away with the 5K/10K Challenge. We hope after this year they will bring it back.

Rules for the course are listed in the Gallery. Prodigy-only CTP is hole 1. MVP-only CTP is hole 2, Women only CTP is hole 19, and the unbranded CTP is hole 20.

Bear Hollow Ice Bowl Recap - Jan 24th, 2024

The Reflection Tour is officially underway as we completed the 10th Annual Bear Hollow Ice Bowl this past weekend!

First, a big thanks to Jeff Ford, owner of Patriots Gold & Silver for being the title sponsor. Thanks to Nick Helm for spearheading this course and his continued dedication to making this a great tournament. A special thanks to Jonathan Chambless, Dasun Keylor, Jacob Whitehead, and Kevin Carder for all the help they put into making the tournament possible both behind the scenes and at the event. Thank you to all who participated in the tournament as charitable donations from players provided money and canned goods to the Heart of Hills Food Pantry and Thrift Store. Total Donations will be announced by Nick Helm on the Bear Hollow Ice Bowl page when completed.

A total of 45 players came out to brave the frigid below freezing temperatures and be the first to get points for the season!

Ice Bowl was definitely the right name for this year’s Bear Hollow tournament as the temperature off the tee for Round 1 was a bone chilling 9 degrees. By Round 2 temperatures had only rose to 19 degrees, but the sun was out and it was still a great day to play!

Division winners:
MPO - David Savage -16
MP40 - Russ Disc Golf Burns- -12
MA1 - Patrick Hoffmann -9
FA1 - Esmerelda Dodson +7
